Day 2 in Seattle

Woke up at 5 A.M.
Searched the kitchen for breakfast...
Went out on the balcony once again.
Read, stretched, computed?, sat around and relaxed.

Leslie and I went for a run, utilizing the lovely, yet hilly, terrain of Washington.

Headed out to the Fremont Market.
Which was conveniently located next to the Outdoor Cinema!

Fancy that!

Got lunch at the market. Crêpes!
Buckwheat crêpe avec banane, homemade framboise jelly, peanut butter,
and freshly made whipped whipped cream.

Top that you silly Parisians!

After the market we went to the Locks. "What are those," you may be asking.
Pretty much a boat transferring system. Helps them go out from fresh water to salt water.

It helps the boaters that come from here.
As well as our friend: The Salmon.
Fish ladder?

We watched them climb the "ladder".

Look! It's the Seattle state bird!
C'mon little guys; SWIM! Swim to your spawning destination.

Enough fish gazing for me.
Time to play elsewhere. Outside on a lovely day.

Hey! There I am! Look! I'm on top of the world wave!

As we were leaving the locks we spotted the hottest Oakley model this summer season has seen.
Looks like some people just don't follow the rules.
